Water use restrictions are put in place for the health and safety of members and homeowners as well as supports the preservation of the environment. You can find all water use restriction reports here.

There are different rules and regulations regarding boating for each of the lakes. To find out more please visit the Boating Page.

All boats and water crafts must be registered every year with the office as well as have visible current stickers. For more information click here.

Boat Safety is a high priority for the GLA. Safety Patrol regularly patrols the lakes to ensure the safety of members and homeowners operating water crafts. DNR also patrols our lakes on occasion and is not associated with the GLA. For more on boat safety click here.
